What is accreditation?

Accreditation is the act of granting credit or recognition, that maintains suitable standards.

Accreditation is necessary to any person or institution that needs to prove that they meet a general standard of quality.

MoEF, GOI

Approved by Ministry of Environment and Forest (MoEF), Government of India as Environmental Laboratory. The ministry is responsible for planning, promoting, coordinating, and overseeing the implementation of environmental and forestry programmes in the country.
